When mouths become soundless: A technology impact
Human is one of the creature that was created by god to live together. Based on that, there are ways to make it happen. It can be like using sound as the ancestor did it before (If it was true), or using more advanced way such as language or media.
Language means much to them who live in business or whose job is to meet people. But Language is also a weapon; depending on the user. For example when in WWII, the Najavo coding language had a massive impact to US. The US army used it to send a message and Germans did not understand it. Human and language is connected through many ways
Nowadays we can see many improvements happened around the world. Everything has changed and of course it will keep changing as the age goes. The changes bring us many impact. One of them is about language. Long time ago, people used to be speak with stranger with no cautious; speaking like a buddy. But now the people are cautious. They think the other people is a bad guy or will harm them. This cause by crime case happened in urban areas where person to person do conversation with.
The case of the cautious act because the people are preferring to keep individualist; think that staying with people is dangerous. The cause is many. One of them is to get privacy. Privacy is a common sense in human being. The human do not like to be interrupted or to be disturbed. Since those two things is annoying, humans prefer to be individualist. In most human thought, being one is better in case of live. This lifestyle is commonly adopted in western country where the technology can keep linking between person or group.
Since privacy is a priority, a new type of group emerge. The new type is individualist. They can be found in some developed countries such as Japan or US. They do like that because of some environmental reason. First is about creativity. In Japan, there is a dining table which makes the person who eat there would not talk to person in front of him, because there is a barrier which block his face and the front person. It is intended to encourage them to eat quicker and to product more.
Second, is about the bullying case. It is quite strange but it happen also. The children who used to get bullying which it can be physic or non-physic can be forced to live alone. Surely he or she still live with family but there are some kids who really live with only his brother or sister. Bullying is a fatal action to children since it can make desperate or the worst is can lead to suicide.
Well, I am not telling much about bullying in this post, but I only focus on the soundless human. The biggest reason why soundless human emerges because of technology. One of the Indonesian comic wrote one meaningful sentence which is "no friend no game". In the past day like in 90's, this sentence really worth. Children in that era could not play if there is no partner. But now since electronic game is created, it changes the sentence to be"no friend it's ok, game is still here". Well I change it to longer. But that is it.
